Den Norske Filmskolen (DNF), Norway - Artistic Research Fellow in Filmmaking
The Norwegian Film School is hiring a PhD-level artistic researcher in film and interactive/immersive media. It's a 3 or 4-year position with a full salary, based in Lillehammer. Application deadline is March 12th, and the most important part of the application is the artistic project the candidate wants to realise over the course of their tenure.
We're especially interested in anyone exploring interesting new narrative formats for interactive and/or immersive platforms. In Norway, PhDs in the Fine Arts do not require any academic publications; the final adjudication is based on the art work(s) created and critical reflection on process.
The candidate must be eligble to live and work in Norway; excellent command of English is required. Knowledge of Norwegian is a bonus, but anyone without Norwegian must be willing to learn.
