    Fresh Film Fest: Deans Conference – August 27, 2010

    Dear Colleagues,
     
    We would like to invite you to our annual Deans Conference hosted at the Fresh Film Festival.  This year’s informal discussions and roundtable presentations will address the following topic:
     
    Reinvention, Re-structuring, Renewal, Rejuvenation, Revolutions and Reincarnations of the Film Academy
     
    We invite you to make brief presentations based on your experiences, and participate in roundtable discussions on the following themes:
     
    Reworking the Curriculum
    Changing of the Guard
    Responding to External Challenges
    Transforming to New Academic Imperatives 
    Incorporating New Technologies
    Growth or Contraction?
    Inspirations for new academies
    Maintaining or re-defining Traditions
     
     
    Depending upon your responses, and inspirations, we will create a schedule to accommodate our informal panel discussions and presentations.   Please limit presentations to 10-15 minutes, to allow for discussions on the topics.
     
     
    Please reply by the 15th of July.
