Major Achievements: "Arun John’s main objective it to be a good ‘storyteller’ and to be a master purveyor of information. Currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Communication from the Department of Communication, Sarojini Naidu School of Arts and Communication, University of Hyderabad he has worked as an assistant professor at St. Francis College for Women. Armed with a JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) in Mass Communication and Journalism he is currently a Senior Research Fellow (SRF).

He has worked as a research assistant for the UNESCO Chair on Community Media and was part of the UNESCO Chair on Community Media team and was a field coordinator for an international workshop on Communication for Development. He also interned with the United Nations Development Programme, New Delhi.

He likes teaching, reading and writing, especially on youth related articles and about contemporary culture, politics, music and the society, ICT, ICTs in education, Livelihood development, Discourse on Development Communication, Culture, Globalization, Movies, Pop culture."
