OPEN CALL for TIFF AMIRANI 2021 Film Competition
Greetings on behalf of Tbilisi International Student Film Festival!
Despite the world's pandemic situation our festival does not cease the activities and continues to support and promote young filmmakers internationally. Hereby we would like to inform you that this year the festival will take place in Tbilisi, Georgia from June 29 till July 4.
The festival is faithfully organized and hosted by Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgian State University, in partnership with Georgian National Film Center, Goethe Institut Georgien, Tbilisi City Hall and other local and international organizations.
The program of the festival consists both of Educational Platform - masterclasses, festival talks and Pitching Forum (Only for Georgian Students) as well as International Film Competition Program, the winners of which will be revealed at the end of the Festival in the following nominations: Jury Prize and Best Fiction, Documentary and Animated Films.
Traditionally, the Jury of the Festival will be composed of a new generation of film critics and representatives of various fields of cinema.
To submit a film to the Tbilisi International Student Film Festival in 2021, please provide us with the best works of your university / film school produced in 2020 and 2021, which will be presented at our film festival after the official selection.
Please note, that the length of the film should not exceed 30 minutes, it should have English subtitles, it should be uploaded on VIMEO or a similar platform in HD quality and the provided links should be accompanied by a password.
After the selection is done and the films have been chosen, we will have an additional communication regarding the screening files.
The deadline for the submission is May 14
Unfortunately, due to the Covid pandemic we have to refuse the idea of hosting the international guests and all the communications will be held ONLINE.

As our Festival is undergoing the renovation and rebranding this year, with some new features and new programs included, our official web page is also under construction for now.
Therefore all the application procedure will be implemented via this official e-mail of the festival.
