Mission & Strategy
Since its inception in 1963, the Conservatoire Libre du Cinéma Français, CLCF's program of studies is devoted to those who have a deep interest in all that concerns the cinéma and television industry and want to become professionals.
The CLCF enjoys an international reputation. The school's objective is to train students to become technicians in both the television and cinema industry.
The CLCF prepares students to achieve careers in:
Assistant to the film Director
Script person
Film editor
Scriptwriter
Students complete their studies in three years.
The main purpose of our programs at the CLCF is to offer students a wide range of knowledge concerning the television and cinema industry. Students acquire a comprehensive academic background that they will be able to rely on later in their career.
AN INTERNATIONAL REPUTATION
The CLCF enjoy an international reputation. Each year the School welcomes dozens of foreign students, most of them are granted scholarships either by the government of their own country or the French ministry of foreign affairs (Office de Coopération et d'Accueil Universitaire - Centre International des Stages (CROUS)). After completing their studies at the CLCF, students coming from abroad will enjoy high positions in their national television and cinema industries.

Lectures given at the CLCF and practical training are all supervised by professionals who have acquired their reputations both in the Television and Cinema industries.
