LSBU is a creative, vibrant, and diverse university with an established track-record of delivering high quality practical filmmaking courses that combine academic rigour with the latest industry and entrepreneurial skills to enable students to build a flourishing career in the film and media industry.
We are situated in the heart of London, a short distance away from the British Film Institute (BFI) and Soho’s production and post-production houses. Our central London location ensures we have fantastic relationships with a wide range of internationally renowned creative industry partners and we work with some of the capital’s major film institutions to offer students a range of opportunities from networking to internships.
Our staff are expert practitioners and researchers with extensive knowledge of the ever-changing film landscape. Students are taught in our multi-million-pound studio facilities, using industry standard equipment including 4k and Arri cameras and state-of-the-art editing suites.
